During the summer I had applied the Balm to dry, flaky skin on my face (my skin reacted quickly to sunscreen) and these had subsided within a few days. Now in the fall I use the Balm really gladly for the lip and nail care and also sometimes also rich eye cream, because of course I could not leave it with the one application on the shoulder blade;). In winter it will be used as a cold cream, because the pot is still more than half full, so rich is the balm.
Incidentally, the Balm smells very delicate, slightly powdery and slightly coconut, but not strong, and certainly not too much of Shea butter. It's very slightly grainy, but that's normal for a product with a lot of shea butter. It melts on the skin, spreads well and leaves a greasy film. It is especially suitable for the targeted care of small skin areas such as wounds, scars, or dry areas.
In addition to shea butter and coconut oil are still evening primrose oil contained and the natural vitamin E extract of the palm fruit. For scenting only vanilla is used.
